General Terms of Sale

1. General principles

These General Terms of Sale apply to all services, orders and shipments of goods that you, as a customer, order from Tasters, the seller, on its Site, www.tasters.ch. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these General Terms of Sale without reservation.

Tasters reserves the right to modify these General Terms of Sale at any time and without prior notice by publishing a new version on the Site. Any order placed after the publication of the new version constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

By using our Site, you agree to be bound by our Terms of Use.

2. Your customer account

By opening a customer account with us, you warrant the accuracy of your personal data. In the event of any changes, you must update your information through your account. You are responsible for your password, which must remain confidential and must not be disclosed under any circumstances.

When you place an order on our Site, you automatically agree to subscribe to our monthly newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time.

We reserve the right to refuse an order or service, or if necessary to close an account without prior notice if it does not comply with these Terms or if we determine that doing so is in the best interest of Tasters and its community.

3. Your order

Only customers who are of legal age, have the capacity to act and are not under guardianship may place an order through the Site.

By placing an order on our Site, you commit to purchasing the selected products in accordance with the General Terms of Sale.

Tasters boxes are ordered individually and contain 3 to 6 bottles.

We offer our products for sale on our Site subject to availability.

The data we record constitutes irrefutable proof of orders. The data recorded by the payment system constitutes irrefutable proof of financial transactions.

4. Prices

We reserve the right to modify our prices at any time. Only the price indicated in the Order Confirmation is binding.

All our prices are listed in Swiss francs (CHF) and include Swiss VAT where applicable. Preparation and delivery fees are included.

We reserve the right to cancel an order that contains labelling or calculation errors.

5. Payment

The payment methods accepted by Tasters are exclusively those indicated on the Site.

We use the Stripe payment gateway to provide the highest level of security for payments made on the Site. Credit card data is not stored on the Site.

Credit card payment is due immediately. We do not accept payment by invoice.

6. Delivery

Your order will be delivered to the address provided during the checkout process.

Tasters will make every effort to deliver your order within 10 business days of receipt. This timeframe is, however, purely indicative and not contractually binding.

The risks associated with the shipment of goods are transferred to the customer once the goods have been handed over by Tasters to the carrier of its choice. You must verify the quantity and quality of the goods upon receipt. In the event of a delivery error, incorrect quantity, defective goods or breakage, you must send us a complaint by email. We will work with our partners to refund defective products.

Deliveries are made within Switzerland only.

7. Returns

You may return products that do not meet your expectations within 7 days of receiving your order. We only accept returns of goods in good condition. The return must be made in the original packaging. You must also include the invoice.

We will refund the full amount of your order for a box in which no bottle has been opened. If a bottle is corked, its amount will be refunded, provided it is returned three-quarters full with its original cork.

Since Tasters boxes are designed for blind tastings, we will not accept any returns or issue any refunds if you simply do not enjoy a bottle.

In the event of a refund, we commit to paying the amount owed within 30 days from the date we receive the return.

8. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These General Terms of Sale are governed exclusively by Swiss law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Renens, Switzerland.
