In the glass, the colour runs deep and dark, almost inky. Black cherry leads from the first sniff to the last sip, with a soft vanilla note that lingers on the finish after eighteen months spent quietly in oak. It drinks beautifully already, but there's structure here for the long haul too.

Pour it alongside venison or a roasted duck, and let mushroom dishes bring out that earthy Burgundian side. Decant for at least an hour before serving, at room temperature between 16 and 18 degrees.
