This Corsican red from Domaine Terra Vecchia brings together the island's two signature grapes, Sciaccarellu and Niellucciu, in a wine that captures the Mediterranean sun and the rugged terroir. It's a beautiful expression of what makes Corsican wines so unique and exciting.
The wine shows a brilliant ruby color in the glass. On the nose, you'll find ripe, almost candied fruits mingling with vanilla notes. The palate is powerful yet elegant, with melted tannins that let the ripe fruits and sweet spices shine through.
Serve this at 16-18°C alongside grilled lamb chops, wild boar stew, or a hearty beef daube. It also pairs beautifully with aged sheep's cheese from Corsica or a classic ratatouille.
