Domaine des Trois Etoiles sits on the sun-drenched slopes of Peissy, in the heart of the Mandement region just outside Geneva. The estate stretches across 10 hectares of vineyards that gently cascade down southwest-facing hillsides, overlooking the city and its famous lake. This privileged location gives the vines ideal sun exposure throughout the day. The terroir here is a fascinating mix of grey molasse soils, sandstone, and gravelly moraine deposits left behind by ancient glaciers. These diverse soils create perfect conditions for growing everything from classic Swiss varieties to more surprising international grapes. The Mandement has quietly become one of Geneva's most respected wine zones, and Peissy represents its beating heart.

A New Chapter Since 2018

Michel Tuor and Didier Fischer took over the domaine in 2018, bringing fresh energy and modern equipment to this historic estate. Fischer, who you might know as former president of Servette Football Club, shares with Tuor a genuine passion for quality viticulture. Right after acquiring the property, they made a bold move by converting the entire vineyard to organic farming. The duo assembled a dynamic team to bring their vision to life. At the helm of winemaking stands Dorian Pajic, a young winemaker who represents everything exciting about Swiss wine today. Trained at the prestigious Changins wine school and enriched by experiences in France, Spain, and Argentina, Pajic brings both technical precision and creative curiosity to the cellar. He also happens to be a Swiss blind tasting champion, which tells you something about his palate. The philosophy here is simple: respect the terroir, work cleanly in the vineyard, and let the grapes express themselves honestly in the glass.

From Chasselas to Gamaret

The domaine produces an impressive range of wines that showcase Geneva's viticultural diversity. For whites, you'll find everything from the classic Chasselas Peissy Fruité to more aromatic offerings like Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. The Pinot Blanc and Aligoté represent Geneva's ability to work with Burgundian varieties. On the red side, Gamay takes center stage alongside Pinot Noir, while Swiss crossings Gamaret and Garanoir show what local breeding programs can achieve. The flagship red is called Amprô, a blend of Gamaret and Garanoir that sees oak aging and delivers impressive structure with notes of dark berries, spice, and minerality. The wines regularly earn recognition at competitions, including nods at the Grand Prix du Vin Suisse.
