This Malbec from La Coste de Los Andes is a beautiful expression of what Argentina's high-altitude vineyards can deliver. The Máximas comes from Los Chacayes, where cool mountain air and intense sunlight create wines with both power and finesse.

On the nose, expect ripe blackberries and plums with hints of violet and a touch of spice. The palate is rich and velvety, showing dark fruit flavors balanced by fresh acidity and silky tannins. There's a lovely depth here, with notes of cocoa and black pepper lingering on the finish.

This wine pairs wonderfully with grilled meats, especially a classic Argentine asado or a juicy ribeye steak. It also works beautifully with hearty stews or aged cheeses. Decant for at least an hour before serving to let it open up, and serve at around 16-18°C to enjoy it at its best.
