About this wine
This Château d'Anglès Grand Vin is the perfect expression of La Clape, a unique terroir where Mediterranean limestone meets sea breezes. The Fabre family has crafted a blend that showcases the best of Mourvèdre, Syrah and Grenache.
The wine reveals deep ruby hues with black reflections. On the nose, you'll find ripe black and red fruits mingling with spice notes, all lifted by that signature La Clape touch of menthol. The palate is full-bodied yet elegant, structured by dense and remarkably fine tannins that carry through to a long, fresh finish.
This is a wine that deserves attention. Decant it for at least an hour before serving at 16-18°C. It pairs beautifully with grilled lamb, beef stew, or aged hard cheeses like Comté.
