About this wine
M. Chapoutier's Avarum is a bold expression of the southern Rhône, where Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah come together to create something truly special. This Vacqueyras offers the warmth and generosity you'd expect from this sun-drenched appellation.
The nose reveals dark fruit aromas with blackberry and cherry, complemented by a spicy character that adds complexity. On the palate, you'll find generous volume supported by a beautiful tannic structure, with red fruit flavors that evolve into elegant smoky notes that linger beautifully.
This wine pairs wonderfully with grilled lamb chops, beef stew, or a hearty cassoulet. Decant for at least an hour before serving and enjoy at a temperature between 16°C and 18°C to let all those flavors shine.
