About this wine
This Lirac from Vignobles Alain Jaume shows what the southern Rhône does best. It's a bold, generous red that brings together three classic grapes in perfect harmony.
The nose opens with candied red and black fruits, think kirsch, blackcurrant, and wild blackberry. On the palate, it's full-bodied and spicy, with a lovely roundness. The finish reveals subtle liquorice and pepper notes that give the wine impressive length.
This is a wine that loves grilled meats, especially lamb chops or a hearty beef stew. Decant it for at least an hour before serving at 16-18°C to let those southern Rhône flavors fully express themselves.
