About this wine
Véronique and Stéphane Azémar craft wines that tell the story of Cahors with honesty and depth. This Malbec-Merlot blend from 2018 shows you what happens when traditional winemaking meets exceptional terroir.
The wine displays a stunning deep color that hints at its intensity. On the palate, it's rich and powerful yet surprisingly round and soft, with velvety tannins that coat your mouth. The 15.5% alcohol is beautifully integrated, adding warmth without heaviness.
You can enjoy it now with grilled duck breast or a hearty beef stew, but this wine has the structure to age gracefully for many years. Decant it for at least an hour before serving at 16-18°C to let it fully express itself.
