This Tuscan red from Gagliole captures the essence of Sangiovese and Merlot in perfect harmony. It's the kind of wine that makes you want to slow down and savor every sip.
The nose reveals ripe black fruits, liquorice, spices and tobacco leaf. On the palate, it's silky and enveloping with beautiful density. The finish lingers with notes of ripe black fruits, liquorice, coffee and dark chocolate.
Pair it with bistecca alla fiorentina, wild boar ragu or aged pecorino. Decant for at least 1 hour before serving, and serve at a temperature between 16°C and 18°C.
