JermannSauvignon Blanc Venezia Giulia IGT 2025

Jermann's story starts in 1881, when Anton Jermann left Burgenland in Austria and settled in Farra d'Isonzo, in Friuli. The family still works the hills close to the Slovenian border. This Sauvignon Blanc is their most direct take on the grape, with nothing else in the blend.

Pour a glass and you'll see pale straw yellow with a slight green tint. Bring it to your nose and you get fresh fruit and elderflower, like a cordial before the water goes in. In the mouth it's dry, has enough weight to stand up to a meal and stays balanced right to the last sip.

Serve it at 8-10°C. It goes well with goat cheese or grilled chicken, and it's an easy bottle to open when people drop by for dinner.
