About this wine
Jules Dupraz brought this grape over from Burgundy at the start of the last century, and it became the house's calling card ever since. Pour yourself a glass on a warm afternoon and you'll understand why he bothered.
In the glass, this aligoté shows more fruit than you'd expect from Geneva, green apple and citrus carried by a lively streak of acidity. The finish stays light, almost weightless.
Serve it well chilled, around 10°C, alongside oysters or shrimp, or set it next to a wedge of goat cheese at your next round of appetizers.
