About this wine
This Chasselas from Bernard Cavé spent time in amphora, giving it a bold personality that sets it apart from traditional Chablais wines. The gypsum and marl soils of Verschiez bring a distinctive character you'll notice from the first sip.
The nose opens with vibrant acacia flowers, fresh ginger and flint notes. On the palate, the mineral structure is impressive, carrying an organic vitality that feels more generous than the classic Coteau de Verschiez. It's lively, precise and full of energy.
Perfect with lake fish like perch fillets, Swiss raclette or a creamy risotto. Serve at 10-12°C to let those mineral notes shine through.
