About this wine
The Dupraz family crafted this barrel-aged red as a tribute to the estate's illustrious former owner, and it's a beautiful expression of Geneva's winemaking heritage. This blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon shows the region's potential for structured, elegant reds.
In the glass, you'll discover an intense wine with intriguing herbal notes mingling with red berry aromas. The barrel aging adds depth and complexity, creating layers of flavor that unfold with each sip. At 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a lovely balance between power and finesse.
This pairs wonderfully with grilled meats, a classic Swiss entrecôte, or aged cheeses from the region. Decant for at least an hour before serving at 16-18°C to let the wine breathe and reveal its full character.
