About this wine
The Frères Dutruy have crafted something truly special from the steep, sun-drenched terraces of Dézaley. This Chasselas comes from hand-worked parcels rich in limestone, where each plot was vinified separately in old oak barrels before blending—a labour of love that shows in every sip.
Expect aromas of toasted bread and gunflint that frame ripe fruit beautifully. The palate is powerful and opulent, with a mineral backbone that gives this wine serious structure. It's got impressive ageing potential, so don't rush it.
This pairs wonderfully with lake fish like perch or trout, fondue, or a creamy risotto. Decant for at least an hour before serving at 10-12°C to let those complex flavours unfold.
