About this wine
Calamin Grand Cru is one of those rare wines where geology becomes magic in your glass. The unique terroir, shaped by an ancient landslide, creates a chasselas that's both powerful and elegant, with a depth you don't often find in white wines.
Expect layers of complexity, with rich texture balanced by crisp freshness. The clay-rich soils give it length and volume, while the chasselas keeps everything light on its feet. There's an airy mineral thread running through it all, like a fine line of chalk dust on slate.
This is perfect with lake fish like perch fillets, fondue, or aged Gruyère. Serve it at 10-12°C and give it some air in the glass, this wine rewards a bit of patience.
