About this wine
This Chassagne-Montrachet comes from a young vine at Domaine Hubert Bouzereau-Gruère & Filles, and it isn't asking you to wait. Pour it the day you want real white burgundy without any ceremony attached.
On the nose it's perfumed and delicate, all white flowers and ripe orchard fruit, seductive from the first sniff. The palate is generous yet precise, fruity and round, with that silky Chardonnay texture that never turns heavy.
Serve it slightly chilled, around 12°C, alongside scallops or a slice of comté, two pairings that let its fruit do the talking.
