About this wine
When you want a white that grabs your attention from the first sniff, this is it. Domaine de Beauvent's sauvignon, grown on the 1er cru slopes of Geneva, shows exactly why this grape earns its reputation there.
Pale yellow with a touch of green, it opens on citrus zest and blackcurrant bud, then drifts toward passion fruit and other exotic notes. On the palate it's lively and concentrated, with real grip and a finish that just keeps going.
Pour it with perch fillets fresh from the lake, or let it cut through a simple salad on a warm evening; it also works nicely with trout. Serve it chilled, around 10 to 12 degrees, to keep that vivacity in check.
