About this wine
This Aligoté from Domaine de Beauvent is a beautiful discovery from Geneva's vineyards. It's one of those wines that makes you appreciate the elegance of Swiss winemaking, with its delicate floral character and crystal-clear pale yellow color.
On the nose and palate, you'll find subtle notes of lemon, apple, and white peach. The wine is rich and round, with lovely floral aromatics and a good persistence that lingers pleasantly. It's refined without being complicated, exactly what you want in a quality white wine.
Perfect as an aperitif, it also pairs wonderfully with fish terrines, freshwater fish like perch or trout, shellfish, and Swiss cheeses. Serve it slightly chilled at around 10-12°C to bring out all its freshness and aromatic complexity.
