About this wine
This Morgon Corcelette from Domaine Grégoire Hoppenot is everything you want from a great Beaujolais cru. It's vibrant, elegant, and shows exactly why Morgon is considered one of the finest appellations in the region.
The wine reveals beautiful aromas of fresh red cherries and raspberries, with subtle floral notes of peony and a hint of spice. On the palate, it's medium-bodied with silky tannins and bright acidity that makes it incredibly easy to drink. The finish is clean and persistent, with a lovely mineral touch that reflects the granite soils of the Corcelette vineyard.
This Morgon pairs wonderfully with charcuterie, roasted chicken, or a classic coq au vin. It also works beautifully with Swiss raclette or a selection of semi-hard cheeses. Serve it slightly chilled at around 14°C to bring out all its freshness and fruit character.
