Picture a relaxed evening, friends around the table, nothing fussy on the menu. The Terre Alte Rosso from Gialdi is the kind of red you open without a second thought.

Ruby red in the glass, it leads with red berries, a touch of spice and a whisper of mint. On the palate it has good body, the tannins ripe and silky, nothing sharp or green here.

Pour it with salami or a simple pasta with mushrooms, and keep it at room temperature, between 16 and 18°C.
