This Amarone Riserva from Monte del Frà represents the pinnacle of Valpolicella winemaking. The Scarnocchio vineyard sits in the heart of the Classico zone, where Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes are carefully dried for months before fermentation, creating a wine of remarkable depth and complexity.

The nose opens with intense aromas of dried cherry, fig and prune, layered with notes of dark chocolate, tobacco and sweet spices. On the palate, it's full-bodied and velvety, with concentrated flavours of blackberry compote, vanilla and liquorice. The finish is long and warming, with well-integrated tannins and a beautiful balance between power and elegance.

This is a wine made for special occasions and rich dishes. Pair it with braised beef, wild game like venison, or aged Parmigiano-Reggiano. Decant for at least 1 hour before serving at 16-18°C to let this magnificent wine fully express itself.
